His books are largely based on his field research he has done in the respected regions throughout the years. Aside from the books, he has written innumerable articles for various science magazines. Even though that he has conducted extensive field research in manifold regions worldwide as his most distinctive work is regarded the one about Gurung people in Nepal. During his field research, he had recorded many videos and placed them for public viewing on the internet.
