It was in 1993 that he made his career beginnings with the setting up of Open Joint Stock Company LSR Group. Over the years, the company has turned into one of the leaders in the real estate and building materials in Russia.  In 2007, he took it public and later went to work as vice president at VTB, which manages the infrastructure projects. When it comes to politics, he was first appointed the Assistant of the Russian Federation public health services and social development Minister in 2007. Today, he is the one to head the committee for economic politics of the Federation Council in Russia. Away from his busy working schedule, Andrei Molchanov is a husband and father of four.
