He co-produced and co-directed the 2008 movie Reloaded and received three nominations at the African Movie Academy Awards in 2009. He was nominated for Best Actor at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2009 and 2010. He has been involved in the Face of Hope Project to help fix child illiteracy in Nigeria and Africa. Elliot is involved in public relations for Globacom. He most recently appeared in the movie When Love Happens in 2014. Desmond is married and has four children.
