Frits took Randstad public in 1990, while he merged with Dutch group Vedior in 2008 to form the world’s second-largest temp agency. Nowadays he is truly retired, but still possesses 35% of the company and remains vice chairman of the supervisory board. In addition, Goldschmeding serves as a professor at the Centre for Entrepreneurship of the Nyenrode Business University, and in his free time goes sailing.
