As a businessman and investor, Mr. Fetisov reached both the peak of his career and riches holding the majority stakes and occupying the Chairman seat at the Board in My Bank group. In 2011, he made a serious investment in My Decker Capital, an investment company in Beijing that has poured around $100 million into New Cooperation Trade Chain, China’s largest retail chain. One year later, he has added some $740 million to his wealth as Altimo (where he had a large stake) sold its 25.1% portion for $5.2 billion to mobile phone operator Megafon owned by Alisher Usmanov. In addition to the above, he is also a lobbyist and a member of the Federation Council, the upper house of the parliament. Gleb Fetisov left that role in 2009 to become the head of the Green Alliance People’s Party, a new political party, in the spring of 2012.
