John Wensink Net Worth

Following a year and a half of inactivity, Wensink was released by the Blues and signed as a free agent with the Boston Bruins in the fall of 1976. Over the course of the next four seasons, Wensink patrolled the wing in Boston and during the 1978-79 season registered a career high 28 goals and 46 points. Following the 1982-83 season, after a brief stint with the Quebec Nordiques and the Colorado Rockies, John Wensink retired from the NHL. He played for Nijmegen Tigers in the Dutch Eredivisie in 1984–85, and in 1989 he played for the Netherlands national ice hockey team in the 1989 World Ice Hockey Championships. Currently, although retired from the game, John Wensink continues to play hockey in a Sunday night men’s league at the Hardee’s Iceplex in Chesterfield, MO. He and his wife, Rhonda, manage and live on a 670-acre ranch in Fredericton.
