When she was 20, she made it into the finalists of Popstars from Caracol TV Colombia and started modeling and continued to sing. She then moved to Miami, Florida where she modeled for noted designers and sang regularly at one of the most prestigious private clubs in Miami Beach where she eventually even came to the attention of such notables as Gloria and Emilio Estefan, John Mayer, Jennifer Aniston, Bon Jovi’s band and others. She also loved acting and took lessons from Hector Zabaleta (Telemundo Coach), Carlos Perez (Venevision International Director and coach), Adriana Barraza (Oscar Nominated actress), Stewart Solomon & Lori Wyman (casting director). She was then called to be on Model Latina for SITV in Los Angeles and other productions for Telemundo, Venevision and Mun2 TV. Karina Musa landed her first speaking role in a movie in Ironman 3 where she worked with Robert Downey Jr. and Ben Kingsley (2013).
