While at Accenture, she performed several leadership roles, including CEO for the resources operating group that had approximately $2 billion in annual revenue. After a decade of serving as President and CEO of Accretive Health, Inc., she stepped down from the two roles in April 2013. However, Tolan still remains a director of the Company and was elected by the Company’s board of directors as Chairman of the Board, effective as of April 3, 2013. Not intending to land the post once again, she informed the Board of the Company that she would not be standing for re-election to the Board of the Company at the 2014 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on November 11, 2013.
