In the 80’s and 90’s, Valentino lived in Las Vegas and performed in casino shows including Viva Las Vegas and Splash. For about two years in 1997 and 1998, Valentino performed as the Masked Magician on several Fox television specials called Breaking the Magician’s Code: Magic’s Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed. He became well-known in Brazil after his sketches were broadcast in the Rede Globo’s Sunday news magazine show Fantástico from 1999 to 2000, in which he was referred by the alias Mr. M. He married Jacquiline Janssen in 1990 and the couple had two children; they divorced in 2005.
